The client wanted to extend into their side return but simultaneously retain natural light in the dining room, which was located in the central part of the house.

We proposed a glass arch spanning the entire length of the extension, allowing natural light to flow through the kitchen and into the middle part of the house.
The strong horizontal lines framing the glass roof emphasise the architectural lines, and the colours of the rear garden are brought into the rest of the property through the expansive glass aperture, allowing the client to sit at the dining room table and enjoy a view of the tall trees located at the far end of the garden.
