The brief was to open up the side return to create a spacious kitchen and meals area seamlessly connected to the lounge rooms at the front of the property.
Working closely with KEMSI Interiors, we developed an open-plan layout that feels brighter, more functional, and perfectly suited to the needs of a young family.

The kitchen at the rear of the property was transformed by replacing the dated windows and doors with large bi-fold openings to the garden. The side return was infilled with a pitched roof and skylights, flooding the new open-plan space with natural light.
The front reception and middle room were refurbished to create a formal lounge and a cosy snug that connect seamlessly to the kitchen while still retaining their own distinct sense of space.
